VPK – Voluntary Pre-kindergarten Program

The Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education Program prepares early learners for success in kindergarten and beyond. Children must live in Florida and be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 of the current school year to be eligible.

Step Up for Students

Step Up For Students is a nonprofit organization that administers the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship for low-income students (K-12). The scholarship program was created by the Florida Legislature in 2001 and is funded by corporations that receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for their contributions.  The income requirements vary by the size of the household. These scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Personal Learning Student Account

The PLSA is a newly created program that is designed to provide the option for a parent to better meet the individual educational needs of his or her eligible child. The PLSA provides eligible students a scholarship that can be used to purchase approved services or products.

National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies

NACCRRA offers fee assistance for Active Duty military families and solutions to their child care needs when care at a Child Development Center on the installation is not available.
